Late. Saraswati Shinde Residential Intellectual Disability Vidhyalaya, Umarga is committed to providing quality primary education (Grades 1 to 5) for children with intellectual disabilities in a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment. The school follows the Marathi medium curriculum, enabling students to learn in their native language while developing academic knowledge, communication skills, confidence, and independent living abilities through individualized teaching methods.

Residential Facilities

The institution operates as a full-time residential school with an approved strength of 40 grant-supported students. Students are provided with a secure, comfortable, and nurturing residential environment where their educational, physical, emotional, and social needs are well cared for. Along with classroom learning, the school encourages participation in cultural, recreational, and life-skill activities to ensure holistic development.
